Bourban
Gorrilas
|
Bourbon
Gorillas are a high energy trio with a great range of modern
hits.
Their lead singer ( Greg) has a great voice but more over
is an incredible showman involving the crowd at any possible
opportunity.
Great guitar by Reggie and Drums by Howie plus full backing
tracks make this a very entertaining option. They don't
do weddings but are available for special functions by request.

The
Coils
|
The
Coils are the most northern band on our books, hailing from
over the Daintree river. Comprising drums, bass guitar,
rhythm and lead guitar and vocals.
They have a great repertoire of new and old covers plus
a sprinkling of originals that will keep the crowd up and
dancing.
Having done stints at the Ironbar, Port Douglas, The Bull
bar, Cairns and the Beach house, Cape Tribulation recently,
they are a very tight live band.
Regular rehearsals maintain this tightness and they love
playing private functions.

The
Tonic
|
The
Tonic is arguably one of Port Douglas' most popular bands.
The secret to their success is two fold. Firstly they have
stayed together for over a decade with the same line-up.
This has lead to an amazingly tight sound that is reproduced
every performance. Secondly, they have a repertoire that,
although heavily reliant on great Australian pop and rock
songs, covers many more musical genres.
They are repeatedly praised for their great mix of songs
as they tend to steer away from the more tired covers, playing
songs that people know but don't often hear performed.
The Tonic are a great option at wedding receptions for crowds
of 80 people or more. Their extensive repertoire appeals
to all ages. |
